The product needs to be safe, reliable and cost effective. Monitoring system Prototypes Prototyping involved using strain gages attached to a mattress, pressure measurements and weight scales. The final prototype uses a variable inductance oscillator circuit in a strap. This will be attached to infant sleepwear. Lloyd Gallup, Mentor Don Elger, Advisor Project Details Spring semester falls between the stars. Work during spring semester includes final prototyping, designing housing for the electrical equipment, incorporating the base unit and receivers, and testing. The budget is shown on the pie chart. Variable inductance strap and oscillator circuit Strain gage The specifications for the product are listed in the table. Sleep Center Equipment The sleep center provided information in measuring human metrics particularly while a person is sleeping.
