The flower helps the plant produce its seed.
The color and fragrance attract insects that
pollinate the plant so it can make seeds.
Stem
The stems carry the
water and nutrients
that were brought up
by the roots to the
leaves. It also
provides support for
the plant allowing the
leaves to reach the
sunlight.

Roots take nutrients and water from the
soil up to the plant. They also help support
the plant by anchoring it in the ground.
The leaves provide the food for
the plant. It uses the nutrients
and water along with sunlight
to perform photosynthesis.
Photosynthesis makes the food
for the plant and oxygen for
other life forms.
