MIMICRY
Mimicry is the case in which one species looks
similar to another species. There are two different
types:
Batesian mimicry in which one non-poisonous species
mimics another poisonous species.
Mullerian mimicry occurs when two poisonous species
evolve to look like each other.
Why would this be
beneficial?

HUMANS??
Symbiosis is a close ecological relationship between the individuals
of two (or more) different species.
The term host is usually used for the
larger (macro) of the two members of
a symbiosis. The smaller (micro)
member is called the symbiont.
MUTUALISM, PARASITISM, COMMENSALISM
Goby fish & blind shrimp
The shrimp maintains the
burrow for both itself and
the goby. The goby stands
guard and warns the
shrimp of approaching
danger. Each animal
needs the other to
survive.
Both organisms benefit in
some way
