Operational maintenance tools Multi-tenant support from the existing database maintenance tools abides by the following rules: • Database-wide tools continue to be database-wide (e.g., backup/restore, after imaging) • Offline utilities continue to be offline (e.g., db repair, roll forward) with the exception of index rebuild. Index rebuild of tenant local indexes is allowed while the database is online.
