Crazy Comma Rule 6
Look for 2 or more adjectives in front of (and
describing) a noun. Put a comma in between
the two adjectives.
Exceptions: If the adjective closest to the
noun is a color or age, do NOT put a comma
in between the two adjectives.
Crazy Comma Rule 6 or Not?
Label the nouns and adjectives.
 Comma needed: The cute, fuzzy dog barked at
everyone.
 Comma omitted: The cute brown dog barked at
everyone. (color adjective)
 Comma needed: The clever, cunning boy
escaped from the locked cage.
 Comma omitted: The clever teen boy escaped
from the locked cage.
