THE CUSTOMER
The customer is a large IT Support Organization that provides service throughout India. With over 60 employees spread across the country, the company
was in the market for a new communication system that could keep up with
their growth, and their need to coordinate the activities of all their departments, including Marketing, Support, Development and Dispatch.
THE CHALLENGE
The customer’s existing phone system was difficult to manage. Each time they
wanted to add a new line or extension, it required a call to their provider
and the dispatch of an EPBX engineer. In addition, the system used traditional
analog handsets, which required the maintenance of an aging and complex
task-specific phone-only network wiring plan.
The existing system also lacked key features that would help the customer to
operate more efficiently and effectively. The new required feature set would
need to include:
• Detailed Call Logging and Call Recording
•Integration with existing databases so that incoming calls can be mapped
to existing customers
•Screen Pops and/or display of customer information on the handset for all
incoming calls
THE SOLUTION

The customer selected the Enjay CTI as the core of the solution with each
department using an Enjay Impression 1500 Mini as a client. This solution
provided the ease of maintenance that the customer wanted along with a
rich-feature set that met all of their requirements. Also included with the solution was the Enjay Zoiper dialer application.
The system dramatically reduced costs for the company, as well as increasing
productivity. All add, moves and changes could be performed easily by the
internal IT staff, and they no longer needed to maintain two separate net-

works, as everything was now unified on a single IP infrastructure. In addition,
the time needed to place an outbound call was reduced from twenty-eight
seconds to just eight seconds, a productivity improvement of nearly 60%.
