ABC Lyrics for 'Galavant' Teases The Show's
Musical Debut

Award-winning composer Alan Menken, of The Little Mermaid fame, and lyricist
Glenn Slater, known for Tangled, have teamed up for ABC's new "four-week
comedy extravaganza," Galavant, so it's only logical that ABC begins its
promotion with some original music of its own.
To explain the show's plot all in one sheet of paper, ABC has teased the theme
song in a lyrics sheet online to set up the hero/villain quest:
The titular hero, Galavant, found his true love only to lose her to his rival King
Richard. The series will pick up as he becomes determined to find his lost love.
The musical series will debut Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015.
