Industrial internship as Researcher Assistant on micro-algae suspension culture and
extract production.
Internship providing an opportunity to apply skills in micro-algae biology in a very
concrete research setting with a goal to find some optimal cell culture conditions to
produce active extracts/metabolites for dermo-cosmetic.
In vitro cell suspension culture with elicitations and bioconversion experimentations
using flasks and bioreactors. Cell extractions and fractionations with HPLC and HPTLC
analysis.
Bibliographic search, oral presentations and reporting, scientific monitoring.

Industrial internship as Researcher Assistant on plant cell or microalgae cryopreservation
Internship providing an opportunity to apply skills in plant cell cryopreservation in a very
concrete research setting with a goal to find some optimal plant cell cryopreservation
protocols on several cell lines including micro-algae. In-vitro cell suspension culture with
viability and re-growth tests with secondary metabolites assessment tests before and
after cryopreservation. Use of robotized equipment for biochemical/enzymatic activity
tests and experimental design. Computer assisted treatments of results and
experimental design.
