Contact your HearPO and Hearing Professional
• Call 1-888-HEARING (432-7464) and a Client Services Representative will assist you in finding a Hearing Care
Professional near you.
• Our representative will explain the HearPO process, obtain your mailing information and assist you in making the
appointment with the Hearing Care Professional.
You Deserve to Hear Better
• HearPO will send an authorization packet to you and the provider prior to your appointment. This will ensure your
HearPO benefit is activated.

Your hearing test
• Your Hearing Care Professional will conduct a hearing test to determine if hearing aids are needed and what
product would be most beneficial to you. If you have had a complete hearing test within the last 6 months, it may
be acceptable to skip this step. Please mention this to your hearing provider. They will determine if any additional
testing might be beneficial.
• You will pay the Hearing Care Professional for all testing procedures at your HearPO discounted rate. Payment is
required at the time services are performed.

Hearing aid is recommended and ordered
• You Hearing Care Professional will review with you the comprehensive list of HearPO authorized manufacturers
models and prices to determine which solution will be best for you.
• Your Hearing Care Professional will charge you the HearPO discounted rate for a hearing aid evaluation. This is an
important step in the hearing aid process.
• You will be given a hearing aid recommendation according to your hearing loss and lifestyle needs. With your approval,
the hearing aid product will be ordered on your behalf at the HearPO discounted price.
• You will be contacted for a fitting once the aid(s) is received by your Hearing Care Professional.

Your hearing aid is fitted
• The Hearing Care Professional will give you complete instructions on the use and care of your hearing aid(s.)
• Your HearPO benefit allows for one-year of follow-up services with the purchase of your hearing aid(s.)
• The hearing aid warranty and 60-day trial period begin at this fitting.

Payment for your hearing aid
Your Hearing-Health Benefit Overview
• Payment with check, VISA, MasterCard or Discover is due at the time of fitting.
• Financing is available by contacting HearPO prior to you receiving the hearing aid.
• Your Hearing Care Provider will collect the payment from you and forward it to HearPO at your fitting appointment.
