Medicare doesn’t cover routine dental care or most dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings,
tooth extractions, dentures, dental plates or other dental devices. Medicare Part A will pay for
certain dental services when you’re in a hospital if you need to have emergency or complicated
dental procedures. There are several plans under Medicare, so it’s best for callers to inquire
about their specific benefits by calling their Medicare office.
