Prof. Ahmed Abd ELRahman
(Egypt)
During the past few years, so many advancements changed the way how root canal treatment is performed. Cone beam
computed tomography revealed the third dimensions with unlimited applications in Endodontics. Ultrasonics has infiltrated
into almost all phases of endodontic treatment, starting from coronal access, removal of post and broken instruments,
and retro-cavity preparations.
Integrating electronic apex Locators, rotary NiTi systems and efficient irrigation techniques gave us a more predictable
endodontic procedures with higher and longer success. Doing all these procedures under high magnification and
illumination using the surgical microscope has opened new frontiers to the clinicians.
This patient life demonstration will integrate these high technologies and armamentarium to manage an endodontic case
in a safe and efficient way.

Chair side restoration of anterior fracture tooth considers being a big challenge for dental operators regarding time and
esthetic outcome. However, improvement in composite resin properties, handling characteristic and shad system can
assist the operator to overcome such a challenge. New shade system that utilizes less numbers of shades and possibility
to correct color as you build up composite layers is now available.

Computer Guided Implant Placement: A Simple Precise & Economic Approach
09:00
01:30
01:30
02:00
Dr. Amr El-Khadem
(Egypt)
The utilization of virtual implant planning and computer aided surgical guides have been proposed since more than
20 years. Such approach allows for precise prosthetic driven implant placement in a minimally invasive pattern with
reduced intra-operative time and few post-operative complications. Despite of the enormous advantages offered by
such protocol, the technique is not utilized by many implantologists. Practitioners tend to place implant in the
conventional manner as it is cheaper and does not rely on others to plan and fabricate the guide. Guided implant
protocol has been also associated with accessibility and cooling problems together with a lot of confusion related to
using the complex surgical kits.
Objectives:
- Describe the basic concept and steps of guided implant protocol
- Introduce a new approach that will allow all practitioners to plan and fabricate an in-office guide with high precision
and low cost.
- Introduce a new compact surgical kit design to simplify the intra-operative procedures and solve accessibility and
cooling problems.

Implant Therapy Strategies for the Aesthetic Zone
02:00
06:00
Prof. Konstantinos
Valavanis
(Greece)
The achievement of an aesthetic implant-supported restoration is a constant challenge to the restorative dentist. Due
to the circular shape of the implant and its smaller diameter, when compared to the root of a natural tooth, a
dilemma inevitably occurs of how to construct an artificial crown that will imitate the natural tooth crown form. The
appearance of the surrounding soft tissue is of major importance, and various techniques have been developed to
guide its topography. The lecture will show individual strategies for implant therapy in the aesthetic zone with stepby-step clinical procedures from diagnostic models through surgery with immediate provisional restoration therapy to
the definitive restorations.

The making of a white smile is one of the most appreciated and gratifying services a dentist can render.
Lecturer will show:
=Different non-invasive esthetic treatment modalities for discolored teeth.
=Bleaching is not the only competitor for the ultimate esthetic outcome.
=Dental treatment of tooth discoloration involves identifying the etiology and implementing the therapy.
=The type and severity of the stains are the determinant factors in the choice of treatment.
Tooth polishing, bleaching and microabrasion are our tools to achieve our goals.

Lip Repositioning Treatment for Gummy Smile
Dr. Ahmed Reda
(Egypt)
01:30
05:00
While facial aesthetics and a BEAUTIFUL SMILE are integrated parts of our lives today, a GUMMY-SMILE represent a major
obstacle to reach this goal. Causes for such condition exhibit a wide diversity; dictating careful diagnosis and planning for
treatment.
Fortunately, the LIP-REPOSITIONING technique has been recently introduced to manage such problem, inspiring
CLINICIANS and giving HOPE to many PATIENTS that until only recently, had no way out except through massive
surgeries. With the belief that conveying such technical information to every clinician is our duty, a tutorial LIVE-SURGERY
shall be performed to establish this concept.
