Acted as dramaturg from start to finish of rehearsal process of over a dozen plays:
- Prepared research packets and responded to research requests during the rehearsal process
- Advised and tracked script changes during rehearsal of new plays
Participated in the cultivation, evaluation, and selection of new work for production:
- Read and evaluated over 300 submissions for the National Ten Minute Play contest
- Served on the selection committee for the A/I Tens
- Served on the selection committee for the New Voices festival of student work
Managed submissions, assisted the smooth administrative function of a literary office:
- Maintained full-length and ten-minute play databases
- Managed the physical script library
- Managed script access and distribution for the institution
Wrote and edited articles and artistic content for theatre publications:
- Collaborated with literary staff to brainstorm, write, and edit artistic content for various theatre publications,
including: Limelight (a subscriber newsletter), study guides, programs, and lobby displays
- Interviewed artists for publications
- Proofread my own and others’ writing in circulation drafts and design proofs
