Dear Sir or Madam,
We would like to express our deep gratitude to Tourism and Business Support Fund of the Central
Bohemia for the support of the events run by the Gymnazium pod Svatou Horou in Pribram in the last
week of June, which gave us a chance to establish even closer ties between schools from different
countries by cooperating on Comenius project as well as to discover the unique culture and beauty of
Central Bohemian Region.
To start with, we wish to point out that the hosting partners , headmaster Mr.Sedlacek , the project
coordinator Ms.K. Sedlackova and the other staff of Gymnazium pod Svatou Horou in Pribram
organized a number of unforgettable events and meetings, such as sightseeing in Prague and Pribram,
different arts workshops for students (including drama, singing, visual arts, dancing) led by highly
professional staff, the Comenius Theatre Day at Pribram Theatre (To our astonishment there was a
recording of this included into the official leaflet of June Events at Pribram Theatre). Moreover, we are
especially thankful to Tourism and Business Support Fund of the Central Bohemia and the Gymnazium
pod Svatou Horou in Pribram for the Feedback Conference afterwards, which we called “The Czech
Night”. The Kolida evening with traditional food and cymbal music and colourful national costumes
gave us a real insight into the spirit of Central Bohemian Region.
During this event we were able to share our opinions on the performances by our project partners, each
of whose were different in form but aimed at solving similar youth problems through tales. The English
astonished everybody with their mindblowing super break dancers, the Romanians offered an original
solution on the problem of finding one’s way in the world, the Czech mesmerized us with brilliant
choreography , while the Turkish took our minds away by their beautiful oriental tale with national
costumes, music and dances and the Hungarians, in a humorous way, compared social youth problems
of nowadays to those of the past. At last, our team (the Lithuanians) showed solutions to bullying,
social exclusion, dangers in social networks through a musical called “Adventures of Pinocchio
Nowadays”.
To sum up, each of the events organized by the Gymnazium pod Svatou Horou in Pribram with the
support of Tourism and Business Support Fund of the Central Bohemia deserves the top evaluation in
terms of meaningfulness for the project as well as having both educational and multicultural
dimension.
All the participants left the hospitable and beautiful Pribram with a great desire to come back again
bringing families and friends, and visit the holy Svata Hora in Pribram again and explore other places of
the marvelous Central Bohemian Region in the nearest future.
Many thanks for the valuable presents that include a lot of information about Central Bohemian Region
which will help us plan our future trips to the region.
Faithfully Yours,
Inesa Rusecka
Project Coordinator
