Following the success of last year’s Summer Youth Project,
the Wyvern Theatre is thrilled to present the Madness Musical Our House.
Our House is a fast moving romantic-comedy featuring all the hits of Madness. The show tells the tale of
Joe Casey and the two courses his life may take after committing a petty crime to impress his girlfriend.
What would have happened if he stayed to meet the police when they appear on the scene of the crime?
What would have happened if he had made a run for it?
The show features Madness favourites such as Our House, Baggy Trousers, My Girl,
Driving in My Car, The Wings of a Dove and the all-time classic It Must Be Love.
Last year’s Summer Youth Project production of West Side Story sold out before

THE MANFREDS Five Faces Tour
The Manfreds, with original ‘front man’ Paul Jones, will be performing
many of the tracks from the highly-acclaimed album The Five Faces

When John Haddrell dies of a heart attack at
the wheel of his car, the woman at his side
is not his wife Margaret but his lover, Julia.
Recovering from the injuries she sustained in
the ensuing crash, Julia is visited by Margaret,
who apparently knows nothing of the affair.
Events take a sinister turn when Margaret
begins to encroach on Julia’s life, engineering
Julia’s dismissal of her home help, Gary, and
her estrangement from her counsellor, Anne.

A TASTE OF THINGS TO COME WITH LESLEY WATERS’ RECIPE FOR POSH FRUIT & NUT
INGREDIENTS
600g (1lb 5oz) dark chocolate
85g (3oz) milk chocolate
55g (2oz) white chocolate
50g (1 ¾oz) hazelnuts, toasted
50g (1 ¾oz) pistachio nuts
50g (1 ¾oz) selection dried cherries & berries
1. Line a baking tray with baking parchment.
2. Place the dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white
chocolate into separate heatproof bowls. Place each
bowl over a pan of simmering water and stir with a
spatula until chocolate has melted. Remove from heat
and leave to cool for 5 minutes.
3. Pour the dark chocolate onto the tray and smooth out
with a spatula.
4. Using a teaspoon, drizzle over the milk chocolate
and swirl into the dark chocolate. Then decorate the
surface with the nuts and fruit.
5. Make a paper cone with parchment paper and half fill
with the melted white chocolate. Pipe the chocolate
over the top of the fruit and nuts and leave to set.

BY ROAD The Wyvern Theatre
is situated in the town centre 15
minutes from the M4 (Junctions
15 or 16) and the A419 and A420.
Follow the signs to the town centre
and when approaching the Magic
Roundabout you will pick up the
signs to the Wyvern Theatre.
PARKING The multi-storey Wyvern
Car Park (pay and display) is
adjacent to the theatre. There is
also a smaller open air car park
next to the theatre.
