What’s New!
We cut loose with Footloose early month! Bravo to the whole
cast. Thanks to everyone’s support with the show. Registration begins May 1st for Through the Looking Glass scheduled to perform in November at the Littleton High School.
Just wait till you see the spectacular in store for this show.

Welcome to Agrabah, City of Enchantment, where every beggar
has a story and every camel has a tail!
All of your favorite characters are here in Disney's ALADDIN
JR., a stage adaptation of the Disney hit film. Filled with magic,
mayhem, and flying carpet rides, audiences' spirits will soar with
excitement. Most of all, the tuneful, Academy award-winning
score with songs including "A Whole New World" and "Friend
Like Me" will certainly make this musical a favorite for many
years to come!
Session Overviews
Session 1: July 8- July 19
Theme of the week: Broadway Hits
Session 2: July 22-August 2
Theme of the week: Hollywood Hits
Activities Included in Each Session:
Classes in drama, dance, and music.
Games – drama games, camp games, arts and
crafts (including prop making, costumes and
more.
Performances:
*The first Friday of camp, campers will be treated
to an outside performer
**The second Friday of camp, parents will be
treated to a free performance by their actors and
actresses
Session Specifics
Space is limited so register soon!
Each session runs for a period of two weeks and is appropriate for students entering 1 st –
6th grade
Staffed by professional and paraprofessionals in theatre, music, dance, communication,
education and special education.
Outdoor play time will be offered daily. (weather permitting)
There will be snack breaks each morning and afternoon. (Snacks are not provided)
Lunch will be daily and refrigeration will be available. (Lunch is not provided)
A nursing professional will be on call for medical emergencies
All staff is CPR/First Aid certified

THE WEDDING SINGER takes us back to a time when hair
was big, greed was good, collars were up, and a wedding singer
might just be the coolest guy in the room.
It's 1985 and rock-star wannabe Robbie Hart is New Jersey's
favorite wedding singer. He's the life of the party, until his
own fiancée leaves him at the altar. Shot through the heart,
Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter
Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his affection. As luck
would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street
shark, and unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a
decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever.

Senior Strutters with a Twist. The debut performance and
one set for May too. April 18th, 2013 Senior citizens in the
Metro west area will feataured at the Annual Senior Conference sponsored by State Senator Jamie Eldridge recently at the
Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School. 31th Annual
Senior Conference at Assabet Valleywhere the Senior Srutters
with a Twist will be featured. Please take a few minutes to
welcome our senior group and book your calendar for our
May event too at the Hale School—May 18 and 19th ( more
to follow in next months newsletter on this show). ** if you
know of anyone over age 65 that wishes to join our group

Country Day School and Theatre with a
Twist
are pleased to present
What A Drag
What A Drag follows a small theatre troupe as they go out to eat for their
traditional full costume dinner after the dress rehearsal. To raise excitement
for the show, they decide to perform a skit from their show, The Wizard of
Osborne, a drag version of The Wizard of Oz. Things don't go as planned
however, when the Wicked Witch of the West, actually dies in real life. Find
out whodunit, in this anything but traditional mystery.
Join us at the historic Bull Run Restaurant in Shirley on Saturday, May 4th
Doors open at 6PM and the show starts at 7PM.
Your ticket includes admission to our live and interactive show directed by
Theatre With a Twist, Inc., a delicious appetizer buffet, an array of mouth
watering desserts, coffee, tea and a chance to win our fabulous door prize. A
cash bar, dinner menu and 50/50 raffle will also be available.
Everyone is welcome to attend…friends, family, CDS alumni, CDS staff…our
goal is to fill the room to capacity! Tickets are on sale beginning April 20th
