The Anne Semonin Brightening Complex is a blend of an advanced Vitamin C
derivative that inhibits the production of melanin, lightening the skin and two
marine extracts : a sea flower and a brown algae which help reduce pigmentation for
a fairer, more even complexion.

Vitamin C Derivative (Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate): inhibits the production of
melanin. Anti-oxidant action and stimulates the collagen synthesis. Lights up
the complexion and reduces the formation of pigmentation spots.

Pancratium maritimum extract (Sea Lily flower): reduces the size and
pigmentation of brown spots due to aging or over exposure to the sun.

Dictyopteris membranacea extract (brown algae): acts on the melanosomes
during their maturation and migration towards the top of the epidermis.
reduces the skin's pigmentation, leaving it more radiant and translucent.
The additional UV filtering system (anti UVA/UVB sun filters - Ethylhexyl
Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Benzophenone-3, Octocrylene offer
effective protection against UV damages), anti-oxidant (vitamin E) and antipollution (Ergothioenine) prevent the formation of new brown spots by neutralising
the potentially dangerous free radicals induced by UV light and the pollution.
The moisturising agents and other additives protect the epidermis from the
dehydration, keeping the skin smooth, plump, radiant.
THE EFFICIENCY TESTS
Evaluation under dermatological control of the in vivo efficacy of the Brightening
Cream SPF 15 and Brightening Serum on healthy asian female subjects (20 Asian
female aged 40-60 years old, presenting hyper-pigmented spots on the face) using
cross-polarized digital photography and self-assessment questionnaires.
Application of the Brightening Serum on the face twice daily (in the morning and in
the evening), every day, over a 42 day- period.
Application of the Brightening Cream SPF 15 on the face once daily (in the morning),
every day, over a 42 day- period.
Significant results - Brightening/ Spot Correction Efficacy :
More than 90% of the consumers confirm the improvment :
 91.7% of the consumers found that their complexion is more luminous and their
existing pigmentation has been reduced.

95.8% of the consulers found that their skin regained its transparency.

BRIGHTENING CREAM SPF 15
A luscious, rapidly absorbed cream that moisturises, reduces the
appearance of dark spots, while protecting the skin from the
environmental damages. With regular use, skin glows lighter,
brighter and looks more radiant.
Directions for use : Apply in the morning on face and décolleté
after cleansing skin with Botanical Milk and toning with Botanical
Toner or Marine Toner. Can be used on its own or after the
Brightening Serum for a more intensive brightening action.
Contains oxybenzone. In case of sun exposure, use a sun
protection product adapted to your skin type.

BRIGHTENING SERUM
An ultra-light serum which visibly lights up the complexion and
reduces the appearance of blemishes.
Can be used as a localised treatment as well as an overall
treatment that lightens sun spots, age spots to unveil a more
even skin tone. This advanced lightweight serum provides a jump
start to brighter smoother skin.
Directions for use :
At night, after cleansing skin with Botanical Milk and toning with
Botanical Toner or Marine Toner, dab the quick absorbing
microfluidised emulsion on problem areas or all over the face.
In the morning, for a more intensive brightening action, apply the
Brightening Serum before your Brightening Cream SPF 15.
