ACell, Inc. Names David Elliot Vice President, Marketing
Columbia, MD - (March 16, 2015) – ACell, Inc. today announced the selection of David
Elliot as Vice President, Marketing. In this role, Elliot will lead all ACell marketing
initiatives and offer strategic direction to advance ACell as a leading regenerative
medicine company.
“David has the right combination of diverse marketing and executive leadership
experience,” said James A. D’Orta, MD, Chief Executive Officer. “There is tremendous
opportunity for ACell to expand our reach and help more patients, and David will be a
vital part of the leadership team driving that growth.”
Elliot has more than 20 years of experience in commercialization, market development,
sales and marketing leadership, and strategic planning. Elliot previously served as Vice
President, Academic Affairs and Marketing Services at St. Jude Medical. He has held
leadership positions at a range of medical device companies including Tyrx, Inc., Valam,
VistaCare (now Odyssey/Gentiva), VasClip, Guidant, and Eli Lilly.
