Nathalie Ponnier
Global Head of Communications & Change Management for NBS
Nathalie Ponnier has been Global Head of Communications & Change
Management for NBS since July 2014. She is member of the Executive Team.
Prior to that, Nathalie was Global Head of Communications for Sandoz, the
generic division of Novartis and as well member of the Global Executive
Committee since July 2009. She also acted as Sandoz Council Chair for
Corporate Social Responsibility and the Diversity & Inclusion initiative. Before
joining Sandoz, Nathalie Ponnier was Global Head of Media & Stakeholder
Relations for Novartis Group, a position she held since early 2008. During her
career with Novartis spanning more than 13 years, she moved from management
positions in Sourcing for local and regional marketing teams to Global Champion
for Innovation, Quality and Productivity (IQP) in the Pharma Division, then to Head
of Country Communications within the Corporate Communications team.
Before joining Novartis, Nathalie Ponnier held a number of senior roles in sales, marketing and
general management, both in-house and with PR and Communications agencies, i.e. at
ProSiebenSat1 Media AG, H5B5 Media AG, Grey Group, Hans Brindfors Advertising, etc. A
German national, Nathalie is a graduate in Marketing/ Communications from the Academy of
Marketing (W AK) in Cologne, Germany, and has a Six Sigma Black Belt Qualification.
She is married and has two kids.
