QUALITY INITIATIVES ACC/AHA Practice Guidelines Developed by leaders in the field of cardiovascular medicine, the ACC/AHA guidelines address contemporary practice issues. They assist physicians in clinical decision making by describing a range of generally-accepted approaches for the diagnosis, management, and prevention of specific diseases or conditions.
