The GIMPA School of Public Service and Governance (GSPSG) invites
prospective applicants for admission into its PROJECT MANAGEMENT
PROFESSIONAL (PMP®) ON SATURDAYS (WEEKEND) PREPARATORY
TRAININGforJanuary2016.
The course is scheduled to commence from January, 2016 for fourteen
Saturdays.
Objective:
Theprimarypurposeofthisprogrammewillbetoprepareparticipantstopass
the Project Management Professional (PMP®) examination, administered by
theProjectManagementInstitute(PMI®).
Coursecontent:
Thecoursewillbestructuredwithinamodularformat.Theprogrammewillconsist
oftheequivalentofthirteen(13)singletaughtmodules.Thelectureswillbeheld
only on Saturdays over a period of fourteen (14) weeks. Participants will be
assessedattheendofeachmodule.

These include: direct lectures, role plays, tutorials, syndicate discussions and
presentations.

will include lunch and snack per each meeting. Part of the fees will be used to
purchasethe5thEditionofthePMBOK.
Coursematerials:
Participants will be provided with copies ofa PMBOK fifth Edition(both soft and
hardcopies)andPMPExamPrepbyRitaMulcahy.Softcopiesoflecturematerials
shallbeprovided.
Duration:
Thetotaldurationofthecoursewillbefourteen(14)weeks.

Lectures will be held at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public
Administration(GIMPA)KUMASIcampus,Danyame,oppositetheRidgeSchool.
