WORKSHOP CALCINED CLAYS AS SUPPLEMENTARY CEMENTITIOUS MATERIALS SECOND CALL June 8-9, 2016 Cayo Santa María, Villa Clara, Cuba INVITATION The Centro de Investigación y Desarrollo de Estructuras y Materiales (CIDEM) and the Faculty of Chemistry of the Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas (UCLV) are pleased to invite you to participate in the workshop “Calcined Clays as Supplementary Cementitious Materials”, to be held from June 8th – 9th at the resort area of Cayo Santa María, in the northern coast of Villa Clara, Cuba, within the frame of the VI International Symposium of Chemistry. The workshop will enable the access to relevant information about the latest developments in the field of using calcined clays as Supplementary Cementitious Materials in various applications and cementitious systems. Research and innovation will be combined in an effort to seek sustainable solutions for the production of cementitious materials.
