pool. The width of the border is 5 feet. What is the area of the border?
Round to the nearest whole number if necessary.
2. Pavone’s Pizza sells a 10-inch (diameter) personal pizza for $10, and a
12-inch small pizza for $14. Which pizza is the better value?? Guess
based on your math intuition. Then justify your answer by giving the unit
cost per square inch for each pizza.
3. A wire is formed into a square with an area of 81 square feet. The wire
is then straightened and cut into four congruent pieces. Each piece is
then formed into a circle. What is the area of each circle? Round to the
