Dayspring Technologies, Inc. is a full-service Web design and development firm located
in San Francisco. Founded in 1998, our clients include Fortune 500 companies, top

Complete in-house development team.
Dayspringʼs software development team consists of
eight full-time, in-house developers, all of whom
work on enterprise projects on a daily basis. All
development is done by our own team -- we do not
contract out software development work.
Low staff turnover. In contrast to an industry
average of 20-25% annual turnover, Dayspring has
less than 5% staff turnover. The benefit to you is the
high likelihood that staff across the phases of your
long-term Web platform plan will remain consistent
so that project knowledge is not lost.
Design staff. With our capable in-house graphic
design staff, we can provide a full range of professional design services, avoiding the need to engage a
third-party design consultant.

Our backgrounds cover a wide range of engineering, design and social disciplines and

Chi-Ming
Chien
PRINCIPAL
Chi-Ming Chien is a co-founder and Principal of Dayspring. Prior to
co-founding Dayspring, Chi-Ming worked as a software consultant at Sapient
Corporation developing user interface for and managing the deployment of an
enterprise-wide, highly available client/server system for a major bank.
Chi-Ming graduated with distinction from Stanford University with bachelor
and master degrees in electrical engineering, focusing on computer architecture and network systems.
John
Greenhill
LEAD
DEVELOPER
John Greenhill has been with Dayspring over 8 years and has managed and
developed on a variety of Web projects, from 2.0 community sites to custom
content management systems and customer service applications. Clients that
have benefited from Johnʼs clear communication and disciplined focus on
execution run the gamut from publishing giants to startups to foundations.
John possess the Google Analytics Individual Qualification which he uses to
help clients leverage site analytics data in guiding Web strategy.
In addition to his Lead Developer tasks, John serves as company Vice President
and directs the Salesforce practice area. He comes to Dayspring from previous
roles as a certified Microsoft and Novell technical trainer and network
engineer, including a stint in Peru.

PROJECT
MANAGER
Janet McKelpin is Dayspringʼs Creative Director and Senior Designer. Janet leads
the team providing visual solutions for our clients—creating engaging websites
and highly usable applications. She particularly enjoys the fact that her
partnerships with some of Dayspringʼs clients have spanned over 10 years.
Prior to joining Dayspring, Janet was a designer with the Dan Gilbert Art Group,
developing consumer products at this boutique Mill Valley design studio. Her
diverse experience creating products ranging from puzzles to apparel to books
gives her a broad perspective on design and its application to the Web. Janet
holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Hawaii.
Young-Ki Kim leads Web design clients from concept through production to
delivery and is one of Dayspringʼs resident CSS jocks. Over his 9-year tenure at
Dayspring, Young-Ki has worked with clients that represent a wide array of
industries—from financial services to nonprofits to universities–all of whom
benefit from his clear communication and near-OCD-level attention to detail.
He takes great pride in producing compliant, well-formatted code that is
intuitive for developers to integrate and easy for clients to grow.
