VPN Access Instructions

Overview: VPN Access is how a registered user (VPN Access Form has been submitted) can
access Intranet Web sites such as Frodo, IEP+, Teacher Access Center (TAC) and eSP Web SMS
(depending upon your security settings) from any computer on the Internet including from your
home.
Procedure:
1. Open your Web Browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox and go to
http://RemoteAccess1.ParmaCitySchools.org
2. Enter your User name and Password that
you use to start your computer at work. Do
not include the Parma\ part. Click on
Login.
3. Something similar to
the screen below will
appear. Once you click
on any of the links
below a new window
will open and that
resource will load. If
you need to login to
that resource (TAC)
you will see the
normal login box.
4. Once you are done simply 'X' out of the tool you are using and then click on Logout at the
top of the Aventail WorkPlace Screen. You will need to actually exit your browser as well.
NOTE: When you are logged into the Aventail WorkPlace you will not be able to use any other
Web site other than the ones listed on the Aventail WorkPlace. Even if you open a new Web
Browser you will still be locked into only those sites within the Aventail WorkPlace.
