Shake, Split & Dip, Graceland’s old-fashioned ice cream parlor, debuted Prairie Farms ice cream just in time for the hot Memphis summer. Since 1984, when President Ronald Reagan declared July National Ice Cream Month, this mouthwatering treat has been a staple of summertime. Graceland has over 400,000 visitors annually from all over the world. Pricilla Presley and Postmaster General Megan Brennan will help honor the rock ‘n’ roll legend during Elvis Week this August. On June 23rd, Prairie Farms started serving ice cream at Memphis, TN’s most popular attraction. Through Labor Day, visitors can taste 19 different flavors and ice cream specialties, as well as homemade fudge and waffle cones. Graceland is one of many partnerships Prairie Farms has with tourist attractions. Earlier this year, Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana and Prairie Farms collaborated to roll out an edible version of the new Thunderbird roller coaster. The delicious combination of vanilla ice cream with loops of caramel and spicy ‘scorched’ pecans is available in 27 states in the Midwest, East Coast, and South.
