Technically referred to as “neuromodulation,” the ReliefBand® Voyager is specifically programmed to stimulate the nerves in the body responsible for regulating the various stimulus mechanisms causing motion sickness. When activated, the device emits gentle electrical impulses to the underside of the wrist. These intermittent signals create a “tingling” sensation in the palm and middle fingers, indicating the device is working and stimulating the appropriate median nerve. The FDA has cleared the ReliefBand® Voyager for sale over the counter (OTC) and is specifically indicated for the treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with Motion Sickness.
