Neonatal & Paediatric Pharmacists Group in association with Mandeville Medicines Prize In Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacy 2009 £1500 Mandeville Medicines in association with the Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacists Group (NPPG) invites pharmacists or technicians to apply for this prize that is now in its ninth year. The ManMed/ NPPG prize is an incentive designed to encourage pharmacists to share the findings of their work. The prize, valued at £1500, is made available annually for a piece of work, which in the opinion of the judges, has shown to have made the best contribution to improving the care of neonatal or paediatric patients. If you have published a paper in the last 12 months or have had a paper accepted for publication either as sole author or with your colleagues then you could be eligible for the NPPG/ ManMed Prize. We wish to reward pharmacists and/or technicians who have made a difference to the clinical outcome for paediatric patients and have published their findings to inform others. The subject area must be relevant to the care of neonates, infants and children and may be work that has been undertaken as part of a multidisciplinary team. We will expect you to demonstrate that you have made a significant contribution to the published work and to tell us how you will use the prize of £1500. It is hoped that the prize will further help you to disseminate the findings of your work more widely, find attendance at symposia or assist you to plan new research. Entries submitted for the prize should not be submitted for any other award until after the adjudication has taken place Guidelines for Applicants Applications should be presented in the format described below and should be submitted electronically with a cover sheet and a short CV.
