The OceanTools PT330-MINI is a rugged & compact pan
& tilt unit designed for a wide range of subsea & underwater
applications. The unit may be controlled via RS232, RS485 or by
switching ±24VDC onto each axis.

It should be noted that the PT330-MINI offers absolute positional
feedback rather than relative positional feedback unlike other pan
& tilt units. The PT330 unit remembers it’s pan & tilt positions even after being powered down.
The unit is manufactured using extremely high quality components
including brushless DC motors, low back lash harmonic drives and
heavy duty bearings on the output shaft.
The PT330 unit is available in hard-anodised aluminum
and includes high precision positional feedback.
Digital control
A simple-to-use graphical user interface is supplied free of charge
with the PT330 unit to allow control from a PC or laptop and allow
command & display of parameters such as go-to-a-position, display
positional feedback, control pan & tilt angular rate, limit end-stops
etc.
Multiple PT330 units may be connected to a single
twisted pair and a single 24VDC power supply.
Surface Interface Box (SIB)
The PT330 unit may be supplied with a Surface
Interface Box (SIB) which supplies power to the unit and
contains a data protocol converter to convert RS485 to
RS232.
