DETECTION
Plug the TVHUNTER + to the antenna socket and turn the antenna until the TVHUNTER + shows the maximum
power on the display. To avoid damage to other devices, when switching on the equipment, the external power supply
is always OFF by default. Select the external power through the setup menu and press
to switch between 0V (OFF)
and the selected external supply voltage.

and frequency), the name of multiplex channel tuned and its services identified at this test point. To change to another
test point or layer (A: one layer; A+B: two layers; A+B+C: three layers) press
again.

Start Auto Scan: It starts the auto-scan function.
External Supply: It allows selecting the external supply voltage for the antenna among 0V (OFF, by default), 5V, 12V,15V or 24V.
Confirm & Exit:
It applies and saves the changes made and exits the configuration menu.
When using the TVHUNTER +, it may appear on the display some messages and icons, depending on the status or
event is taking place. These messages and icons are detailed below

“LOW BATTERY”
Low power level battery. Plug it to the charger.
“SERVICES NOT FOUND”
The instrument cannot detect the services of a network.
“VERY LOW BATTERY”
The equipment will be switched off immediately.
“SIGNAL NOT DETECTED”
When no signal is detected.
“SUPPLY SHORT CIRCUIT”
The external supply can be shortcut.
“FULL BATTERY”
Battery fully charged.
“SUPPLY OVER CURRENT”
The external supply has a high current consumption.
“MPEG-2 NOT DETECTED” It is not detecting the Transport Stream MPEG-2 signal.
“MANUAL POWER OFF”
The instrument has to be switched off by hand.
The instrument will switch off after five minutes
of inactivity.
“LOADING NETWORK”
“AUTO POWER OFF”
“BATTERY MODE”
When the battery is being charged.
“UPDATE MODE”
When the instrument is being updated.
“NETWORK NOT FOUND”
The instrument cannot find a TV network.
After finding a signal, needs a time to load the network.
“LOADING SERVICES”
After finding a network, needs a time to load services.
“HIGH TEMPERATURE”
The operation temperature is too high.
The instrument must be switched off for a while.
If the problem persists, contact with the technical support.
