This PSU is Suitable for AMD Dual CPU server boards (Extended size 12”x13”) using AMD’s
ATX GES Power Interface.
Suitable for AMD’s Athlon MP Dual Processor Tyan Motherboard such as old Tyan Thunder
K7X S2468 and Tyan Thunder K7 S2462.
This PSU is NOT compatible with standard ATX / EPS motherboards. Please double check
connector pinout suitability before causing any damage.
However, newest AMD boards and Intel EPS / ATX boards now require the same connectors so
should you require this PSU with a standard EPS / ATX connector, please ask for a free "24+8Pin
AMD to EPS / ATX adaptor".
Note that the connector wire colours for this particular PSU may be slightly different from other
AMDs’s ATX GES PSU seen on Internet.

Stretch PS2 Series
The SD025A460WSW power supply has been optimised for
use in the value Mid Range Workstation segment, and
features two separate SELV compliant 12V outputs used to
provide power in motherboards capable of supporting dual
processors, with high PCI and Memory loading. It features
five main outputs and a 5 volt auxiliary output, and meets the
requirements of the EN61000-3-2 regulation for limited
harmonics (PFC). The power supply has a standard PS2
faceplate, and has common PS2 mounting features.

Application Note:
Please note - If you have an SD025A460WSW Rev. 02 power supply (marked
under REV heading on the power supply label), the minimum load has been
changed to 100mA and there is no need to follow this application note.
If you
have a Rev. 01-power supply, then please follow this application note.
If your Tyan S2462 based System fails to power up, you may not be meeting the
minimum load specifications for this power supply. To ensure that the Minimum
specification is meet, please follow the proscribed integration sequence listed
below:
Prior to first power up, please install system peripherals using the peripheral
power cables from the PSU, and system fans using the following fan connectors
on the m/b– Fan1, J54, J90, J58 or J56. This will ensure successful system
initialization during first power up.
