ROLAND ROLAND DOUBLE SHEET DETECTOR UDK10 Description: In the sheet processing industry, but especially the automotive industry, not only steel but increasingly aluminum and other non-ferrous materials are used. When loading blanks into presses automatically, feeding double blanks must be prevented. The UDK10 was specifically developed for these applications. Up to 255 different parameter sets (types of materials and / or sheet thicknesses) can be entered into the unit, stored, and addressed either from the keyboard or a PLC. The Sensor Switch Box SSB-UDK10 is available as an option to connect up to four sensors to be activated sequentially. This can be necessary if sheets are destacked from more than one location (see separate sheet Sensor Switch Box SSB-UDK10). SCPWS-GG-.. The measurement is based on evaluating the changes in the electromagnetic field and the eddy currents due to the changing sheet thickness.
