Participants are kindly requested to make their own accommodation arrangements, which
will not be paid for by the OSCE/ODIHR.
In exceptional cases and subject to available funds, ODIHR might cover the travel and
accommodation of selected participants. Participants requiring such support will be

280 PLN (70 Euro) + 7% VAT for SGL room per night (breakfast included). To do that,

3) TRAVEL INFORMATION
Insurance: The ODIHR is not responsible for the loss of property and personal injury,
including insurance certificates for such cases.
A) FLIGHTS
Participants are kindly requested to make their own travel and accommodation
arrangements, which will not be paid for by the OSCE/ODIHR.

B) TRANSFERS IN WARSAW
From/to the Airport:
By taxi:
The taxi journey from the airport to the centre of Warsaw takes about half an hour and
costs about 40-50 PLN (10-13 EUR). There are taxi stations right outside the Arrivals
Halls of the International terminals. Do not use the services of unauthorized taxi drivers
at the airport.

By public transport.
Bus line 175 provide transport service between F. Chopin airport and Warsaw centre all
week from 04:50 to 23:00
In order to get to Sheraton hotel, you should take bus no. 175 and get off at “Foksal” the 19th stop. The bus journey should take approximately 35 minutes. There you have to
cross to the other side of the road and take any of these buses: 195, 116, 180, 222 503, E2 and get off at the first stop “Plac trzech krzyzy” (Square of three crosses). Sheraton
hotel is situated across the road.
4) LUNCHES
Lunches and coffee breaks will be provided free of charge to the participants of the
meeting.
5) GENERAL INFORMATION
Currency: The national currency is Polish Zloty (PLN). Current exchange rate is at
approx. 4 PLN for 1 Euro.
Bank facilities: Bank services and exchange operations can be done at the banks or
exchange offices
situated in the city.
Electric current: The standard voltage in the electric circuit of Warsaw is 230 V.
Electric plugs may not correspond to plugs of your electric appliance; therefore the use of
an adapter might be necessary.
Time: Warsaw time differs from Greenwich time by +1 hour For further information,

6) VISA REQUIREMENTS
Participants, if required under the Polish law, are asked to make their own arrangements
for securing a visa for entry into Poland.
Please note that it is NOT possible to have your visa issued at the Warsaw airport
upon arrival. Participants must be in possession of the appropriate identity documents for
travel to Poland.
In order to receive a visa free of charge, participants can apply to the consular section of
the respective Polish Embassy in their country by submitting the following documents:
- Completed application form (which can be obtained either from the consulate or the
embassy’s webpage),
- A full national passport or official travel document valid for more than 3 months
beyond the validity of the requested visa, with a blank page free to affix the visa sticker,
- 2 passport-size photos,
- Original letter of invitation,
- Proof of health insurance,
- Transport documentation (ticket or e-mail confirmation of reservation).

The ODIHR will send you, upon request, a visa support letter to present to the
authorities.
7) TRANSLATION SERVICES
Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English and Russian.
