BALLAST HOUSING
The precision die cast aluminum ballast housing features “Tilt 2” design
for maximum heat dissipation, cast in cooling fins and integral carrying
handle, and drip lip construction where the top half overlaps the bottom.
Available with hook and cord or threaded ¼ turn hub for ¾” NPT mount.
REFLECTOR STRAPS
Reflector straps with “strap lock” design and stamped in position
markings for precise positioning of the reflector, in relation to the lamp,
to accommodate a variety of spacing criteria.
ALUMINUM REFLECTOR
The quad parabolic anodized aluminum reflectors are designed for
efficient distribution of lamp lumens. Diffuse or Semi-Specular finishes.
ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
High Intensity Discharge ballast, class H insulation, copper windings,
high power factor, centered in housing for level orientation. Capacitor is
mounted flush with casting wall for heat dissipation and cool operation.
HID LAMPHOLDER
Porcelain Mogul base lampholder 4KV-pulse rated, copper alloy nickelplated screwshell. Open 250W Metal Halide versions come with a
specific open fixture rated lamp socket.

Die cast aluminum hook with 3ft, 6ft, or 9ft of 16/3 ST cable.

Twist lock Nema plug, 20 amp, voltage to be specified.
8) EMERGENCY QUARTZ (Lamp not supplied)
AM - Automatic quartz relay controls the quartz lamp for momentary
power interruptions. EM – auxiliary quartz socket only, powered from
separate source. Socket to be double contact bayonet base 150W max.
9) HID LAMP (ordering code “L”)
706 / 707 – mogul base, clear
716 / 717 – mogul base, coated
Note: open models using 70W - 250W Metal Halide must be an open
fixture rated lamp only (unless glass lens is specified).
10) GLASS LENS (ordering code “G”)
Tempered glass lens, 1/8” thick, permanently sealed to reflector
11) FUSING (ordering code “FS”)
Single line fusing, 120/277/347V only. Panel mount midget fuseholder,
with 15-amp 500-volt time delay fuse.
