Product Profile
MAX3100 is a powerful multifunction power meter that can measure more than 60 parameters such as U,I,P,
Q, cos o ,F, kWh, kvarh, etc. The standard MAX3100 has RS-485 communication protocol, 2 energy pulse outputs
(active and reactive each) functions. With optional module, MAX3100 can perform more functions as harmonic
analysis, 8 digital signal inputs, 4 programmable relay outputs, 4 programmable analog outputs (0-5V or 4-20mA).

Applying modular design. MAX 3100 works flexibly to suit customers'needs. MAX 3100 LCD front panel and
main unit can be connected or separated; the main unit alone can work as a data acquisition module.
MAX3100 fulfills ass the important requirement of IEC60687(GB/T17883-1999),C1268(GN/T17882-1999), IEC
61000-4-30, GB/T 14549-1993, IEC688-1992,GB/T13850-1998.

Connection and Installation
I. Integrated Front panel + main unit (+module) connection ______Default type
MAX3100 inteqrated connection is mainly for panel installation.
II. Main unit (+module) connection______no display, for data acquisition purpose
MAX3100 con transmit the measured parameters thru com. Port to other device. This installation unit
can be installed on 35mm rail or bolted in the cainet.
III. Front panel and main unit(+module)separated connection ____customized installation
The front panel can be installed on the front panel of cabinet; the main unit can be installed on 35mm
DIN rail or bolted in the cabinet. These two are connected by wire (length of wire is 0.5/1/1.5/2m).
Customized length of wired is offered.
