Adds stiffness to relieve stress at the base of the cone caused by high output applications. ® Dual 6 ohms edge wound aluminum coils • Are used for their good heat dissipation capability and flexible subwoofer system designs. GTi high impedance woofers benefit from the high voltage amplifier designs used in JBL Power and GTI amplifiers. Differential drive design • Allows for nearly twice the linear one-way Xmax compared to a conventional motor design. Proprietary cast aluminum frame • Provides enough strength to support the massive motor (three 120oz magnets). The vented and finned architecture provide substantial motor cooling.
