Prunus subhirtella 'Autumnalis Rosea' resembles 'Autumnalis' but has sturdier, darker brown
branches and pink flowers. The tree has a broad vase-shaped crown. Height 6 - 8 m. The leaves
emerge green and turn to yellow to orange in the autumn. Repeats flowering from November to
April, if there is no frost. A very beautiful autumn cherry with semi-double flowers that are dark pink
when in bud but flower as pale pink. Is used as a park tree. If grafted on a stem it can also be used
as a park tree. Winter hardiness zone: 5b
