Relevant Field Experience
Hydrogeology Lab
Fall 2015
 Simulated Phase I environmental assessments. This was conducted at Appalachian State University’s greenway
and well field. The site’s historical usage, water table, possible environmental hazards and well measurements
were all analyzed.
 Received basic knowledge regarding well construction.
Ecology Lab
Spring 2015
 Conducted experiments on stream ecology. Analysis of various species counts contained in an on-campus
stream yielded insight into predation patterns and environmental impact on species.
Technical Skills
Familiar Computer Programs
 Basic skill set using ArcGIS mapping systems. Future plans to obtain GIS certification.
 Probability analysis using the open source program R markdown.
 Basic script/function writing experience using MatLab.
 Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Graph creation, data input, and entry transformation into usable
information using Excel. Lab reports, review and research papers in Word using MLA and APA format. Multiple
presentations given using PowerPoint as a visual aid.

 Utilized valuable time management skills to juggle a demanding program of study with thirty hours a week at
Five Guys.
 Worked as a team to accomplish daily goals.
 Performed management responsibilities such as food ordering, inventory, labor monitoring, leading team
meetings, and task delegation.
 Acquired knowledge of a basic business model.

Mooresville Christian Mission
Spring 2013
Organized clothes and food, moved donated furniture, and helped clean. Overall a rewarding experience giving back to
the community I’ve spent the majority of my life in.
