On December 11, 2014, WTTW's 14 high-definition cameras captured a
once-in-a-lifetime gathering of artists at the stunning Palazzo Theatre at
the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, headlined by former Beach Boy cofounder and music legend Brian Wilson. The Grammy-winning
performer/composer teamed up with an eclectic group of acclaimed
musicians to perform beloved hits from his illustrious career, as well as
selections from his upcoming new album to be released in early 2015.
Joining Wilson onstage was an outstanding twelve-piece band along with
special guests Nate Ruess from Fun, Beach Boys co-founder Al Jardine,

singer/songwriter actress Zooey Deschanel, Capital Cities' Sebu
Simonian, and jazz trumpeter/composer Mark Isham-all of whom
perform with Wilson on his new release, which features new
arrangements of Beach Boy classics as well as exciting new material. An
audience of 1,850 enthusiastic fans danced and sang along throughout
this unforgettable concert. The wonderful performances, joyful
collaboration among the artists, and electric atmosphere made for one of
the most singular and memorable programs in Soundstage's 40-year
history.
