General Description:
The 3D animator is responsible for animating a video games’ 3D visual content. He works closely with the
art directors, designers, 3D artists and programmers.

Conduct visual research;
Work alongside the artists to create animated elements;
Prepare all elements (objects, characters, environments, etc.) for the animation;
Animate different elements following the client’s requests and expectations (internal or external);
Ensure the content’s quality, structure and optimization.

Mastery of 3D production software (3ds Max or Maya);
Mastery of image-processing software like Photoshop;
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team;
Ability to communicate with other team members;
Excellent knowledge of human anatomy and movement;
Strong time management skills and respect for production deadlines;
Autonomy, resourcefulness, organization and rigor;
Comfortable with image manipulation;
Skilled at drawing and traditional illustration (asset);

Training/Experience:

College or university degree in Art, 3D Animation, Multimedia or equivalent;
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the gaming industry.
