Water Treatment Solutions TETRA’s filtration, blending, and “green” treatment chemistry provides bacteria and scale-free water going downhole. Conventional Treatment –– BioRid biocides and TETRAClean additives injected at our patented blending manifold ahead of the working tanks –– Non-oxidizing, slower acting biocides added at the blender –– Fast acting, quick degrading, “green” biocides kill bacteria as frac water moves through the tanks –– Potential for bacteria not being completely treated going downhole ® Fracing operations need a clean frac fluid downhole that is bacteria, scale, and corrosion-free, compatible with other frac chemicals, and environmentally friendly by being quick acting and quick degrading. Since blending and transfer go hand-in-hand for an optimal frac fluid, any treatment depends on having a continuous homogenous supply of water to treat.
