Description:
Retail Business Intelligence System deals with the products and sales for CarreFour Data
Mart. The purpose of Data Warehouse is designed for Sales Analysis. The source data from
Oracle8.0/flatfile extracting and cleansing the data using ETL Operations. Data populated in to
Facts and Dimensions using Informatica. Generating various types of reports using Business
Objects for Multi Dimensional Analysis. This Data Mart contains more than 200 product types
and also their competitor’s. The system allows marketing and sales users to maintain targets for
various Products.
Role:
 Worked on Informatica tools -Source Analyzer, warehouse designer, Mapping Designer,
Mapplet Designer and Transformation Developer.
 Used Source Analyzer to Load data from Flat Files and OLTP Systems into Data
Warehouse.
 Used warehouse designer to populate data into Staging Area and Warehouse area.
 Developed Mapplets, reusable transformations to populate the Data into Data warehouse.
 Created Informatica mappings to build business rules to load data. Most of the

one domain of the business and captures data from their Transactional Database maintained under
