NYSA INVESTMENT PROJECT
– Project’s characteristics

Project was carried out between 2005 – 2008 by the District Labour Office in
Nysa and CTC Poland Sp. z o.o. z/s in Warsaw.

There were 60 people in the project. These people were individuals, not
registered as unemployed and willing to start up a new business (with no
restrictions of age, gender or professional experience), excluding people, who
owned an enterprise and been running their business already after January 1,
2004).

Out of the above 35 persons received financial support in the form of a single
premium investment – 20.000 PLN and basic bridge support – 4.200 PLN (700
PLN x 6 months).


- consulting services
 The main objective was to provide consulting services, which
include:
 diagnose the scope of assistance to be given to selected
individual beneficiaries;
 development of individual action plans for each of the
participants.

- Entrepreneurship training
 The aim of the organized training for 60 beneficiaries was to
prepare listeners for and independent business start-ups
and management in any business sector.
 The program of the training enabled participants learning
about book keeping and accounting, taxation and insurance
related to future of the economic activity.
 Beneficiaries were also equipped with appropriate skills
necessary to prepare a professional business plan and
receive financial support.

The training included following topics:
 marketing – 8 h;
 negotiations, sales techniques – 8 h;
 tax advisory – 8 h;
 legal aspects – 8 h;
 structural funds – 8 h;
 business plan – 40 h.

- investment grant
A one-time investment grant in the amount of 20.000
PLN accounted for the capital support to help finance
the first expenses / investments enabling the
functioning of the newly established micro-enterprises.
The grant could be spent for:
 purchase of machinery, facilities and the equipment necessary for
preparation of the workplace,
 costs associated with the proper installation and commissioning of
the said equipment,
 software costs
 costs of modernization and adaptation of premises, including section
of private housing dedicated for related activities,
 other investment costs.

- bridge support
The bridge support was given to each beneficiary in
the amount of 4.200 PLN and was designed to help
finance current costs related to carrying out business
activities.
With the bridge support beneficiaries could finance:
 costs of social security, health insurance and
noninsurance funds,
 Current expenditure for activities of microenterprises.

We have prepared promotional
materials (leaflets, posters), which
informed of the content and

informing the public was conducted
in accordance with information
campaign established in the
proposal application.

The project team conducted the
recruitment of project
beneficiaries. In this process,
surveys were collected from those
who wished to join the program.
At the same time we provided
counseling services. Counselors
were employees of our office
accordingly qualified to the given
task.

An entrepreneurship training was

received positive opinion of the
Project Evaluation Committee in
Opole were given one-time
financial support for a business
start-up in the amount of 20.000
PLN and bridge support of 700 PLN
a month during a period of 6

Dental Practice As a part of business activities the Practice offers dental services in the
field of: pediatric and conservative dentistry (filling cavities of carious and non-carious origin
using modern composite materials, root canal treatment, cosmetic cover of damaged teeth,
teeth whitening) prosthetics (replenishment of missing teeth using dentures and fixed, teeth
cosmetology using porcelain crowns and veneers, treatment of dysfunction of the
temporomandibular joints)
ELEKTROTECH company provides services of effectiveness’ control and measuring of the
electric shock protection installations and electrical equipment. Activities include also
electrical installation service. They are suitable for a corporation such as manufacturing
companies, schools, warehouses, and for individuals who apply for the connection of
electricity in newly constructed residential buildings.
Orthodontic Laboratory Braces made by ORTHO-DENT differ from any other with aesthetic
finishes, colors, workmanship and a thinner braces’ plate, which is possible through the use
of modern materials and modern equipment. The company offers the following services:
preparing orthodontic appliances; repair of orthodontic appliances; preparing retention
platelet; children’s dentures. The company is also cooperating with orthodontists.
Retail sale of sports equipment. The company sells sports equipment, fishing tackle
accessories and pet food. The company is also active in the rental of sailing equipment and
advising on the selection of equipment appropriate to the needs of individual customers. It is
also a consignor (purchase - sale) of used sports equipment. Comprehensive shop
equipment will satisfy the most demanding customers.
BIELA sewer-drainage
company
The company offers the
following services:
 reconstruction and renewal
of drainage ditches,
 sewer construction,
preparation of land for
construction projects,
 dismantling and demolition
of buildings,
 organizing construction
sites after finishing
constructions works,
 paving,
 performing specialized
construction works.
Retail sale of sports equipment. The company sells sports equipment, fishing tackle
accessories and pet food. The company is also active in the rental of sailing equipment and
advising on the selection of equipment appropriate to the needs of individual customers. It is
also a consignor (purchase - sale) of used sports equipment. Comprehensive shop
equipment will satisfy the most demanding customers.
Polskie Media is a company highly specialized in the production of sound recordings. The main products
of the company are radio broadcasts for both radio broadcasters and retails as radio plays in media outlets.
The second product is musical productions performed on individual orders of radio, television, and music
groups. The company also produces commercials for individual orders of companies and individuals. All
these products are characterized by innovative spatial solutions unprecedented in radio broadcasting (the
'surround' and 'quadrostereo’).

TON s.c. The main activity of the company is providing sound systems, lighting and musical
setting. Services are provided in a comprehensive manner. In addition, the company
provides health and safety training and support for companies and institutions to adapt to
the health and safety requirements.
The Company Auto - Błysk provides services in the field of car cosmetology (washing,
waxing, engine cleaning, vacuuming, upholstery washing) and washing rugs and carpets for
offices and residential premises.
Auto-Błysk offers:
outstanding quality and quick duration of the services thanks to high quality equipment,
friendly and professional service.
Driver Training Centre BRUM is a driver training center. Candidates are prepared in terms
of practical and theoretical knowledge for the state exam. Courses are basic, additional and
complementary. Services provided by the center BRUM differ from competing centers
primarily because of the reliability of training and objectives, which are: passing the state
exam with a positive effect and the education of drivers who will participate in traffic in
a courteous and safe way.
“Card of a Young Entrepreneur”
From 01.01.2014
 The objective of the project is to promote entrepreneurship among
young people under 30 years of age by creating a favorable environment
and system of preferences for business, including the reduction of
barriers during setting up and running your own business.
 The plan is to create a catalogue of support for young entrepreneurs,
including information about preferences, benefits, discounts and
amenities offered by the companies and institutions.
 We offer a package of support, which will facilitate and enable a faster
commencing of developing operating business activities for young
people.
 It will be implemented openly and evolutionarily, allowing not only to
expand the circle of those interested in joining the program, but also to
actively participate in it.
