Pinocchio, a 100% Italian musical produced by Compagnia della Rancia
On the occasion of Expo 2015 WTC Milano is glad to promote
PINOCCHIO The Italian Musical.
Written by Saverio Marconi and Pierluigi Ronchetti, with music
by Dodi Battaglia, Red Canzian and Roby Facchinetti (famous
in Italy as the pop band THE POOH), lyrics by Stefano D’Orazio
and Valerio Negrini and Manuel Frattini in the role of the most
famous puppet in the world - will be on stage at Teatro della
Luna from 1st September to 18th October 2015.
PINOCCHIO The Italian Musical is a show suitable for the whole
family which amuses and surprises with its great special effects
and fascinates with dances and songs. A great cast of the very
best performers, surprising and special effects, spectacular
changes of scene, exciting songs, colourful costumes give life to
over two hours of show with a quick-paced rhythm.
The director Saverio Marconi says in a statement “PINOCCHIO
has been staged abroad, first in Korea and then in NYC and we
believe that it would be the best way to promote Italian culture
through musical theatre”.
For the first time in Milan, PINOCCHIO The Italian Musical will be
subtitled in English with “smart titles” on mobile devices thanks
to a free Wi-fi and the Opera Voice TM App.
