Caesar was ruthless in tracking down his enemies and making them
suffer. For example, he is known for hunting down all the pirates that had
held him hostage. On the other hand, Caesar showed his gentleness by
helping the poor people of Rome, particularly farmers and families with
children.
Prudentia
D
Caesar did not have the foresight to realize that the Senate was turning
against him while he was playing with Cleopatra in Egypt. He did not hide
the fact he fathered Cleopatra’s child; foreigners were not often welcome
in Rome and the public was outraged by his indiscretion. Caesar also did
not anticipate his murder.

GRADE

Very Good
Although Caesar was an amazing fighter and army general, he suffered
from occasional epileptic fits that affected his health. Also, his premature
baldness was an embarrassment and a distraction to him so he often
wore a wreath on his head.
Caesar was an exceptional orator, which in ancient times was the major
indicator of refinement and learning. During his reign, he proved the range
of his intellect by reforming the calendar and initiating building projects
that showed great vision.
