(2006) What is a Mite?!? Tiny but diverse arachnids related to spiders, are some of the most abundant and diverse groups of invertebrate fauna. Found in all environments worldwide, from the deserts to the polar regions and everything in between . The are predators, fungivores, detritivores and even herbivores.
