Examples A gesture that communicates good luck in Brazil is the equivalent of giving someone “the finger” in Colombia Japanese people smile when they feel nervous, but Europeans when they are happy Pointing with one finger is considered to be rude in some cultures and Asians typically use their entire hand to point to something.
