•
Flexible to use – Can be used in all ages and stages of
production
•
Unique dual adjuvant system – Minimizing injection site
reactions, while maximizing immune system recognition.
Demonstrated advantages by limiting milk drop post
vaccination
•
Milk withdrawal: Milk must not be used for food for the
first 84 hours after calving. Use no later than 30 days
prior to calving
•
Slaughter withdrawal: 42 days after latest infusion
Dry-Clox® (cloxacillin benzathine)
•
Dry-Clox® – Dry cow treatment providing bactericidal
activity against gram-positive bacteria
•
Bactericidal against susceptible organisms including
Strep agalactiae and Staph aureus, including
penicillin-resistant strains of Staph aureus
•
Labelled for intramammary infusion in dry cows only at
the time of drying off. Use no later than 30 days prior to
calving
•
Dry-Clox® has prolonged antibiotic activity due to the
low solubility of cloxacillin benzathine and the slow
release gel base
Metacam® 20 mg/mL Solution for Injection
(meloxicam)
•
Takes advantage of the Opti-Sert® tip which aids in
partial insertion
•
Metacam® provides proven and effective pain relieve to
helps animals recover faster from dehorning or diarrhea
and return to full performance. Metacam® improves
calves’ appetite and growth.
•
Dosage: Infuse a 10 mL syringe (500 mg of cloxacillin
activity per syringe) in each quarter once, after quarter
has been completely milked out
•
•
For the treatment of inflammation and pain associated
with acute clinical mastitis.
Treated animals must not be slaughtered for use in food
for at least 30 days after the latest treatment with this
drug
•
For use in sheep and lambs for the alleviation of pain
and inflammation.
•
•
For use in swine for to reduce the symptoms of
lameness and inflammation.
Milk taken from treated cows which calve within
30 days of infusion must not be used as food until the
unexpired remainder of the 30 days has elapsed
•
Metacam®’s long half-life and duration of action
means that a single dose is required to relief pain for
several days
