SPECIAL ISSUE ON “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNIQUES AND ITS APPLICATIONS”
GUEST EDITOR: D. Jude Hemanth
CALL FOR PAPERS:
The necessity for computational applications is becoming increasingly important in almost
every real time situations. Most of the computational applications are automated which
depends on computers for processing. The techniques used for processing the
computational applications can be broadly classified into two categories: (a) Non-Artificial
Intelligence (AI) systems & (b) Artificial Intelligence systems. Non-AI systems include the
statistical processing techniques, probabilistic techniques, etc. Even though these
techniques are less complex in nature, most of the systems suffer from the drawbacks of
inaccuracy and lack of convergence. Hence, these systems are highly replaced by AI based
systems which are much superior to the conventional systems. AI techniques are mostly
hybrid in nature which includes Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Fuzzy theory, Evolutionary
algorithms, etc. Though most of the techniques are theoretically sound, the applicability of
these techniques is not fully explored for practical applications. Many of the computational
applications still depend on Non-AI systems which limit their practical usage. This special
issue specially focus on the feasibility of AI techniques on practical applications. These
practical applications are unlimited and it includes applications in control systems, power
engineering, bio-informatics, biomedical, optimization, applied science, signal processing,
computer theory, database management, mechanical applications, etc. This special issue
serves as an ideal platform for discovering the untold advantages of AI techniques for
practical applications. This special issue also bring out solutions for many problems of the
human society through theoretical and experimental AI based systems.
