THEATRE WESTERN EXECUTIVE TEAM Theatre Western is seeking a number of dedicated students to fill various positions on the Executive Team. Promotions Representative: Creates and disseminates promotional campaigns for all Theatre Western events via digital media, print media, and face-to-face marketing. Must be creative, dedicated, and familiar with social media platforms. Graphics Representative: Designs promotional material for print and digital use, takes headshots and compiles programmes as per copyright instructions, and assists in promotional campaigns. Previous experience in Photoshop is a requirement while InDesign, photography and videography skills are a strong asset. Community and Outreach Representative: Promotes Theatre Western as a member of the London theatre community, plans and oversees workshops and trips. Interpersonal skills and a strong interest in theatre is required. Finance Representative: Assists Theatre Western in creating the season’s budget. Responsible for keeping track of finances, ticket sales, and reimbursements. Must be organized and have experience working with money. Additional Programming Representative: Organizes and co-produces all events other than the Play, Musical, and Short Plays. This includes workshops, caberets, the annual award ceremony, and any other event they may wish to create. Must be creative and dedicated throughout the school year. Purple Shorts Representative: The co-producer of Theatre Western’s shorts festival. Responsible for selecting student-written plays and assisting directors in bringing their shows to life. Patience and organisation is necessary, and experience managing large groups is key. Fall Play Representative: Co-producer of the play; responsible for choosing the show, hiring a creative team and assisting in logistical aspects of the show. This is a multifaceted position encompassing booking space, sourcing props and costumes, etc. Experience in a theatre production is a strong asset, but not required. Musical Representative: Co-producer of the musical; responsible for choosing the show, hiring a creative team and assisting them in logistical aspects of the show. This is a multifaceted position encompassing booking space, sourcing props and costumes, etc. Experience in a theatre production is a strong asset, but not required. The Musical Representative works for a longer period of time than the fall play rep; approximately December to March.
