THREE HUNDRED
The object of the game is to generate two-digit numbers
which can be added or subtracted to get as close as
possible to 300. Two dice and a recording sheet are
needed.
Playing the game:
1. One Player rolls the dice. Each player then writes down the
two digits in either order to make a 2-digit number. For
example: If a 2 and a 5 are rolled the player can create
either 25 or 52. In the first round each player records the
first 2-digit number at the top of the paper.
2. During the second round, the players record their second 2digit number directly under the first number and either add or
subtract. The result is written under the two numbers.
3. During the game each player may add no more than eight
times and subtract no more than 2 times.
4. At any time during the game, before beginning a new round,
players can declare that they are satisfied with their result
and stay with that answer for the remainder of the game.
5. The player who creates the number closest to 300 wins.
